Mining contractor Macmahon needs an HV Electrician at a coal operation near Glenden, south of Moranbah — up to $85 an hour on a 7:7 drive-in drive-out roster, temp-to-perm for the right person.

The role is heavy-mobile-equipment focused: electrical repairs, servicing and diagnostics across CAT, Liebherr and Hitachi plant, fault-finding to keep availability up, and working with maintenance planning to schedule jobs. Alternator, starter motor and A/C knowledge gets put to daily use.

What you'll need

• Australian-recognised electrical trade qualification
• Experience with heavy mobile equipment electrical systems
