WorkPac is placing an experienced Shotfirer at an open-cut coal mine near Moranbah in the Bowen Basin — $81.39 an hour on a 7/7 day-shift-only roster with camp accommodation and meals included.

You'll run blasting activities to site procedure: preparing, loading and firing shots, completing pre-blast inspections and safety checks, and working in step with the drill & blast and production crews. Everything must stay compliant with Queensland legislation and site rules.

What you'll need

• Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence
• S1, S2, S3 plus G8/G9 competencies (or equivalent)
• SSAN clearance
• Coal mining experience
• Driver's licence and full working rights; medical and D&A screen apply
