You'll provide paramedic-level first response for the site, work within the emergency response team, run on-site drug and alcohol testing, and help drive the site's health and safety culture — sometimes independently, sometimes in a small team.

What you'll need

• Prior mine site Paramedic/ESO experience
• Bachelor of Paramedical Science with current AHPRA registration
• Cert III Emergency Response and Rescue
• Current drug & alcohol tester qualification (Cert IV TAE desirable)
• Australian driver's licence

You'll drill blast holes to plan — right depth, right angle — adapting technique as ground conditions change, running daily pre-starts, and coordinating with shotfirers and supervisors to keep patterns accurate and production on target.

• Open-pit production drilling experience
• Rig time on Epiroc T45/D65, Sandvik D1650i/DP1500i/DR410i or CAT MD6250/5150 preferred
• Current manual WA driver's licence (HR licence a plus)

You'll run blasting activities to site procedure: preparing, loading and firing shots, completing pre-blast inspections and safety checks, and working in step with the drill & blast and production crews. Everything must stay compliant with Queensland legislation and site rules.

• Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence
• S1, S2, S3 plus G8/G9 competencies (or equivalent)
• SSAN clearance
